"Inspiration comes instantly for LIFE IS SUITE. They consider everything to be musical, and find that a lot of what they are exposed to as influential to their creative process."
In A Nutshell, Ya' Bissshhh !!!
"One swipe of the keycard into room 4602 was the beginning of an epic vacation and the birth of one of the most innovative groups in Electronic Music today. LIFE IS SUITE is a group of three Music Producers and DJs from New York City. We create songs that mix our roots in hip hop grittiness & latin sexiness with the futuristic percussion of Electronic Dance Music and the emotional harmony of Cinematic Soundtrack. Inspiring people to erase imaginary boundaries from their minds, LIFE IS SUITE provides entertainment that introduces the communal energy of Dance Music to the complex setting of multi-cultural crowds. Not popularly heard in our neighborhoods, we had very little exposure to EDM. As young artists, we originally began recording Rap, Reggaeton, and Film Scores. Little did we realize that some of our musical arrangements already had built in elements of Progressive House, and unknowingly, we were foreshadowing the loving sound that would soar later in our careers. Then, during an eye-opening trip to Vegas, amidst endless shots of vodka and playful bantering with beautiful women, we were determined to become part of Electronic Dance Music. We witnessed the power it had to get the party going, both, outdoors at the pool parties, and indoors at the hotel rooms. We decided to provide our audience the same fun and positive energy. With the return to NYC, we bought ourselves a DJing system with the ambition of reinforcing the craft, and got booked for club gigs before we could even open the box! We have since performed in such NYC venues as Latin Quarters (LQ's), The Belmont Lounge, and a couple more. Everything has kind of fallen into place since then, and it almost feels like it was meant for us to vigorously pursue this shit all along! So we thought, “Fuck it!” and devoted ourselves whole-heartedly to continue the escalating experience until as long as the Universe permits, with the focus of rocketing our brand towards a galactic scale. Although, we’ve had to deal with some bumps on the road throughout this travel, we accomplish it one milestone, and hotel trashing at a time."

On member K.O’s behalf, crediting one sole person with his greatest musical influence is a mistake. K.O says, “I may be inspired by a great song, a singer on the streets or on the platforms of the NYC subway, or even unnoticed talent at open mics.” (He gives a long stare, followed by an awkward pause.) "I am not musically educated so I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing, but I know what I want and it’s a fun process in the studio with us three.” He continues his joking around by teasing about the group's individual styles.“J. Granobles likes to make up words in the mixing process, and J. Vatican is cookie cutter.”
Other member, J. Vatican interjects by saying, “Yea Right! Cookie cutter my ass!” J. Vatican used to think that he and K.O. had a similar ear in music. Now, he feels like he doesn't know K.O. anymore. Yet, both K.O. and J. Vatican agree that member J. Granobles leans towards a more abstract method when it comes to creating music. J, Granobles has a cosmopolitan approach for producing, which is a trademark of his instrumentals. J. Granobles has an extensive collection of vinyl records dating back to the beginning of the 20th Century, that were passed down to him by his dad (an avid music collector and musicologist). "Out of sheer laziness I wouldn't bother to count the numerous songs and productions in his possession. It could take months!", band mate J. Vatican says about his friend, J. Granobles' repertoire. J. Granobles adds by declaring, "I find old Latin American records to be of great importance."

The Work Flow of LIFE IS SUITE
But too many flavors can fuck up a dish. So the three chefs have to compromise for the greater interest of the platter when cooking in the same kitchen. (They are fans of the culinary arts) They each are highly critical of their own input, but also keep high expectations of the others’ results. So, before people even get a snippet of anything, LIFE IS SUITE runs its tracks through stages of critiques, to consistently seek improvement. Eventually, outcomes are based on democracy. Opinions are communicated, heard and considered, but majority rules. When two members mutually agree on something then the third member has to give in. On rare occasions, when neither one of the three can agree, then a unanimous vote they all feel strongly about has to be decided. If not, then it is up to the deadly game of Russian Roulette. Regularly, the story ends well for all.
The Future of LIFE IS SUITE
LIFE IS SUITE wants to give back by offering motivational speeches some time in their career. They would like to encourage people not to let anything claim their defeat, just as LIFE IS SUITE hasn’t. Separating isn’t something they intend to do any time soon, but taking on solo projects and ventures is also something the future awaits. What better way to spread "LIFE IS SUITE" to many corners of the Globe than to be in three different places at once? But, it’s also way more fun with your friends by your side!
